IIoT - Industrial Internet of Things
When considering the Industrial Internet of Things, it is useful to divide it into points, sections and areas. These points, sections and areas can then be connected to different networks using appropriate bridging elements, communication gateways, converters and intelligent controllers. Finally, the different networks can be integrated to create a corresponding application environment. Based on our experience, we know that the implementation of an Industrial IoT solution should start with a comprehensive analysis of a given operation and end with the successful integration of all these elements based on that analysis.
Why choose ICP DAS?
ICP DAS has professional fieldbus development and integration capabilities in its pocket, enabling us to deliver the most suitable solution for different application scenarios.
Our products are designed to meet the demands of industrial environments and are exceptional in their resistance to interference.
ICP DAS has developed various modules for IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and Industry 4.0 communication standards based on MQTT, OPC and UA protocols that can measure a wide range of factors such as air quality, power consumption, vibration and temperature information to meet the requirements of industrial applications.
ICP DAS has strong ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) capabilities and can provide customized services according to the specific needs of our customers.
In fact, the approach to the required functions in IT and industrial management is quite different, especially in aspects such as communication protocols and data formats. ICP DAS therefore provides a solution by reviewing the hardware that may be required to address the needs of all parties, thereby reducing the labour costs associated with inter-level configuration. For example, the MQTT broker is the most commonly implemented hub when considering IoT, while OPC UA (Unified Architecture) is used at the industrial site to connect to the Cloud.
MQTT is the most commonly used messaging protocol in the IoT industry, which can be considered as a bridge for data transfer between field devices. To make communication between IT and OT site more concise and efficient, ICP DAS has developed a series of UA schemes based on the MQTT protocol, which allows modules to integrate between devices via OPC UA using different communication languages, and provides a standardized encryption format for data that can be uploaded confidentially to the Cloud.
By properly configuring the hardware settings for the UA IO Series devices in the field to integrate machine communication languages via OPC UA, data transfer becomes more concise and intuitive to solve previously complex data sending and confidentiality issues.
ICP DAS uses its proprietary cloud-based IoTstar management software along with its WISE, PMC and PMD intelligent controller series to manage data collected by managed I/O devices or to perform logical configuration for scheduled control, authentically distributing the computational load and implementing intelligent real-time control in the field. The control scheme provides the following functions:
• Reduce the communication load required for a central control computer that may have limited bandwidth.
• Data Processing Addendum (DPA) capability for data concentrators to ensure data integrity in the event of a communication failure.
• Scalability and reliability of controlled I/O devices.
• Real-time and historical databases enable efficient data management and analysis.
• Logic decision configuration is available, including features such as real-time LINE alarm, WeChat and two-way LINE Bot alarm and control functions.
• Support for both public and private cloud systems, increasing flexibility and choice for users.
• With these features, ICP DAS is able to provide users with a powerful and flexible system for managing and controlling their industrial processes and data in real time.
Due to the need for increased mobility in equipment deployment, reduced cabling costs and the combined demand for wireless communication in the market, ICP DAS has developed a wide range of wireless communication module solutions. These include technologies such as ZigBee, Wi-Fi, NB-IoT, RF, GPS, Bluetooth, LoRa, GSM, 3G, 4G and IR.
These innovations allow customers to efficiently implement and manage their devices with greater flexibility and lower installation costs. With ICP DAS wireless solutions, it is possible to respond quickly to dynamic market demands and conditions, whether it is providing connectivity in remote locations or integrating with modern IoT applications that require robust and reliable wireless communications.
